Our tents are perfect for all events, big and small, and can be used alone or joined together in configurations of two or more, creating a large, open & inviting space. This makes our tents perfect year round - whether it’s providing shade & airflow in the summer with the sides up, or cozy-warmth in the winter with the sides down.
Atmospheric.
Our tents are visually stunning from the outside while offering an inviting and spacious environment on the inside. Imported from Sweden, these Tipis have a diameter of thirty feet and stand approximately twenty-six feet tall—making a lasting impression on anyone and offering plenty of space for any occasion.
Practical.
Our tents are sturdy, fire-retardant, and water-proof, while still maintaining a chic finish. With the ability to withstand up to 60 mph winds, they are perfect for just about any location and weather condition. Originally used to withstand winter in Scandinavia, our tents are suitable for any event, no matter the time of year.
Origins behind our tents.
Our tents are inspired by the traditional shelters of the nomadic Sami people of Northern Scandinavia. Originally a simple cone-shaped wooden frame covered in animal hides, it was a practical way to keep warm amidst harsh weather. Locally they are known as “laavu” or “tältkåta”. The term “tipi” has been adopted on a more international basis, and “Nordic tipi” is often used to differentiate from living structures historically used by indigenous peoples of North America.
We are proud to use Tentipi tents, designed and manufactured in the Lapland region of northern Finland. They draw heavily on traditional Sami design, but structured with modern materials and construction to allow for ultimate durability.
